TAKE YOUR DOG TO WORK DAY

Wednesday 17 September 2008

Greetings dog lover!
Last year's event was a great success. Pooches up and down the country lent their owners a paw at work for the day. View our gallery for the pictures.

This year's event takes place on Wednesday 17 September.

Video clips and podcasts

View video interviews with people taking part and what the day means to them.

In our petcast, Blue Cross animal behaviourists Ryan Neile and Julie Bedford explain the benefits of taking your dog to work, and how the much-needed funds raised help needy pets in our care.

The serious stuff
The event is organised by The Blue Cross and asks dog owners to consider how they can spend more time with their pets. As well as promoting responsible pet ownership the event also raises funds for the charity, allowing it to continue its work caring for unwanted and sick pets. Registration is free, owners are simply asked to fundraise for The Blue Cross.
